So, without further adieu, here you go!!
1. Young The Giant - Anagram
This song makes me cringe every time. Good blending of instruments. Nice arrangement.
POETIC! This became my travelling companion.
POETIC! This became my travelling companion.
2. Glass Towers - Tonight
Sounds like Two Door Cinema Club, but with distinct rock vibe. Good song.
3. Young The Giant - Daydreamer
This song deserves more than just one listening.
4. Kimbra - Wandering Limbs
Soulful, great harmony and great cover.
5. Tame Impala - The Moment
Soothing electronica/psychedelic vibe.
6. Tame Impala - Less I Know the Better
Good vibes!! The bassist killed it!
7. December Avenue - Ears and Rhymes
Awesome OPM. Drammatic. The melody just made me ask for more.
8. Damien Rice - My Favorite Faded Fantasy
So good song that it leads you to the 5th dimension with realizations.
9. Kimbra - Cameo Lover
Lively Kimbra. She can make melodies enough to make my head bang even if it's not rock.
10. Corinne Bailey Ray - Trouble Sleeping
Corinne's voice is soothing as a warm bath.
11. Young The Giant - It's About Time
It's about time for you to listen to this great, great song of YTG!
12. He Is We ft. Owl City- All About Us
My girl friend (note the space) shared me this song, and is great. Not an avid fan of Owl City though.
13. Half Moon Run - Call Me in the Afternoon
The mere thing that made me so attached to this song is that, it has a great arrangement, instrument blends, nice vocals and the epic/creepy/mysterious music video.
14. Avicii - Addicted to You
Yes, this is the Toothpaste song. It hit me at the chorus and good mix. Good vocals of Audra Mae, who slightly sounds like Adele.
Avicii made an addicting last song syndrome, no doubt.
15. Trevor Wesley - Chivalry is Dead
Because of this video, I got hooked to the song. Good job Ian Eastwood.
16. Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
Yeah. We all know that Coldplay will never cease to bring eargasms, and a Rush of Blood to the Head. :D
17. Sara Bareiles - 1000 Times
Sorrowful and heartful. Sara is triumphant with this song. It got me at the "'Cause I would die to make you mine/Bleed me dry each and every time/I don't mind, no I don't mind it/I would come back 1000 times."
18. Thirteen Senses - Home
The feeling of needing to be home after a long tiring day and seeking the comfort of your own bed. Thirteen Senses don't just give thirteens senses, it brings hundreds.
19. The Narrative You Will be Mine
This mid-tempo song is great jeepney song.
20. The Kooks - Naive
Fresh rock. Nice vocals.
21. The Contortionist - Language
This song made it to the list because of the instrumentals alone. Guitar solo!
22. The Strokes - Reptilia
This song is a perfect headbang.
23. Club Kuru - Loot
Indie songs are awesome as chocolate fudge.
24. Young The Giant - Firelight
YTG can pull off mellow songs and as great as their other hard rock songs. \m/
This Firelight is addicting while traveling on bus.
25. Foster The People - Nevermind
FTP has magic in their songs. This sums it all up.
