Finding Nemo

They say, you’re a friend:
Or maybe a foe.
Or maybe more than that.
Anyhow, I’ll call you mine.

You’ve brought someone laughter.
Joy.
Tears.
Melancholy.
Everything that makes you, yourself.
Have we met already?
Barely.

They say you’ll be the star in the sky, bringing that tiny light in my bleakest night.
You’ll come to illuminate my darkest blackout.
In every little way, you’ll make me smile.
Skip a heartbeat.
Laugh.
Cry.
Believe.

I’ll be in need of your embrace when the earth’s falling, crashing behind my back.
Your words when I lack.
Melodies of yours when the room is bleak silent.
Somehow you’ll be plucking my heartstrings harmoniously once in a while.
Preparing delightful stuff for my brawling stomach when I come back in our dwelling.
I wonder how you’ll be doing that;
I only made you up in my mind.

I always had these dreams of fiction turning to reality.
How an ordinary, powerless man can soar swiftly through the clouds,
Fight those oppositions with their unusual abilities,
Lifting gigantic stone to save a life,
Preventing a collision by freezing the time,
Controlling four elements with just a wave of a hand,
How a hopeless person gives hope to others,
How a single smile empower a tiring day.

These fictions made,
Those desperate moments.
Will God send His angels to come down and sing,
In order to give our souls their heavenly seal?

My empty mind,
Me and my hypothalamus.
You,
being my mystery,
Entwined together made my forever.
At least for now.
